Serengeti Grand Opening
The Serengeti Grand Opening. Serengeti is a one-of-a-kind property in Alva, just fifteen minutes from I-75 on the west coast of Florida. Its lush 31 acres are full of natural beauty. The Caloosahatchee River borders the southern side of the property, and will offer boating access for its residents. There’s a total of 15 acreage lots still available for purchase — homes must be at least 2,700 sq. ft. of living area.
Congratulations to developer Mike Case who kicked off the grand opening festivities with announcements and a preview of the home collection in the newly refurbished clubhouse. Then everyone was encouraged to enjoy the eats & drinks. Join in the Caloosahatchee boat rides, inspect and even drive the private collection of fast cars and classic restored cars, compliments of Mike Case and friends.
The La Caruna Model is now under construction with almost 3,000 sq ft of living space, and offers 4 bedrooms plus a Den and 3 baths. Dave Jenkins of Wright Jenkins Home Design and Joe Jablonski of Serengeti Builders took guests on a walk-thru the model, reviewing the special features that make this home so energy-efficient. This hi-performance home will operate with just a 3-ton AC unit, about half the tonnage required for a typical new home constructed today. Also pointing out one of the most important features that people never see in a finished home are the ducts within the conditioned space. Building the AC system this way results in at least a 50-60% energy savings. This homes’ power bill will average $90-$100 per month.
Serengeti is initially offering 6 elegant Mediterranean & Tuscan style homes to choose from. Designed by Wright Jenkins Home Design, and offering both custom design and modification services. For more information call Dave Jenkins – 239-218-3508.
Because of the super energy savings these homes will provide, Fannie Mae will be offering Energy Efficient Mortgages that will save Serengeti homeowners thousands a year. More information on this program to come.
So now you can leave the traffic congestion behind and welcome a more serene and sustainable lifestyle at Serengeti. For more information please contact Mike Case – 239-826-6710.
