Award Winning

Many homes built from our Pre-Drawn Wright Jenkins Home Plans have won design, energy-efficient and green building awards and are available for purchase. The 101 Clearwater, the first production-built Net-Zero Energy Home for instance was rewarded at the 2010 East Builders South Conference Aurora Awards, winning Auroras and Grand Auroras in every category entered. (Best Home Design under $500K, Most Energy-Efficient [Aurora & Grand Aurora] and Best Green Construction) But the most cherished award received is the rarely given Judges Choice Award. Below is an excerpt from the 2010 SEBC Aurora Award’s press release.

“As one judge stated about the winner of the special Judges Choice Award, “One challenge facing housing is consumer education regarding green and energy efficient construction. This project demonstrates that green doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive nor do you have to compromise on features within the project.” Another judge commented "This is exactly what we should be building." 

Like the Aruba, plan #710, a number of homes built from our Pre-Drawn stock plans have won “Best in Show” in Florida Home Parades. All were submitted by the builders who constructed them. Our plans have also been the recipient of several Best of Houzz and Houzz Service awards.
