The Richland House Plan is what we call a “New Old-Florida” style home. It borrows from the old with the use of rafter-tails, a standing seam metal roof and bead board siding with brackets. While embracing the new with its tall windows without mullions, and smooth white stucco that has vertical and horizontal scoring.
GREAT FOR FAMILY & ENTERTAINING
The open-concept home provides plenty of gathering space for family and entertaining. The front entrance is covered by a wide porch lined with double columns. Inside the foyer leads past the formal Dining and Den/Bed 5 that is accessed through double doors, while the coat closet is just beyond on the right. The Den/Bed 5 has its own full bath, that also doubles as a guest bath. Just beyond the Foyer are wide-open views to the covered Lanai threw the Great Room and Kitchen areas.
A gourmet-style Kitchen provides a large eat-at-island, convenient to guests in the Great Room and Nook. Plenty of cabinet and counter space are available to the chef, while the Nook and pantry shelves are nearby. The Great Room is topped with a stunning 2nd story coffered ceiling above. A cozy fireplace is centered between custom built-ins. French doors open up the Great Room to the deep covered Lanai with outdoor kitchen.
The Utility Room hugs the Owner’s Suite and can be accessed from either the garage entry hall or the Owner’s Bath. The entrance from the garage leads to a mud bench on the right and a coat closet on the left.
The secluded Owner’s Suite has its own private entrance just off the Great Room, and offers an outside door to the rear of the house. The spacious bedroom is topped with an elegant tray ceiling, with a view of the rear property. A short hallway leads past a generous walk-in-shower, double sink vanity, free-standing tub, private privy and ends at the large walk-in-closet.
A GAME NIGHT MEDIA ROOM
The first Guest Bedroom with full Bath is on the opposite side of the home. This full bath can easily double as a cabana bath for a pool home. The second floor stairs is access just off the Great Room and leads to first to a bridge overlooking the Great Room and Loft area. Two guest bedrooms share a full bath which can also be accessed from the Media Room.Designed into the Richland House Plan, are exclusive energy-saving techniques. When built to these specs, it can result in a 50% savings when compared to other new homes. A 60-70% savings when compared to older homes.
